Tying the knot just became more festive and fabulous than ever before, as the AAA Four Diamond Grand Lido Resorts & Spas joins hands with famed wedding planner Sasha Souza to introduce a sensational nuptial package that’s in a class all by itself.  Featuring the vibrant colors and dramatic touches that are Souza signatures, Oceans of Love, an innovative new add-on, gives brides and grooms a top-of-the-line option for saying “I Do”.

The Event
Guests will receive private limousine roundtrip airport transfers and be greeted upon arrival by their private concierge.  A pool party welcome awaits with caipirinhas splashed with mango or passion fruit juice.  Later that day, guests will gather at the beach, in a private setting with eye-popping garlands of flowers, for a reception accompanied by a steel pan band.  An appetizer station will feature plum tomatoes, carrots and other colorful crudités, and lobster or shrimp with mango slices on skewers will be offered along with wine and champagne cocktails.

A palette of rich, brilliant hues of blood-red, orange and burgundy will be used to play up the sunset ceremony, from the flowers to swaths of fabric -- including organza, tulle and silk dupioni -- draping the roof of the open dinner tent.  The exchange of vows will be timed for late afternoon, with the reception kicking off at sunset just as the sun blazes below the horizon.

A sublime seafood dinner created by a private chef will be served in the tent, each course paired with wines chosen by the personal concierge in consultation with the bridal couple.  Following dinner, wedding guests can proceed to a beach platform, just outside the tent, to dance the night away under the night sky and the vibrant sounds of a reggae band.

The cake, an elaborate sandcastle fantasy, along with colored ices, tropical fruits, exotic teas and liqueurs, will be available in the tent for everyone to dip into at their leisure.  Capping the evening is a fireworks display lighting up the sky just above the couple.  Finally, the just-married couple will retire to a one-bedroom honeymoon suite with a private Jacuzzi.
